On Tuesday, March 19 2024, the Bachelor Program in Japanese Language and Culture held an outreach on working in Japan with the Marimo Group. The activities carried out on the basis of this collaboration were attended directly by representatives of the Marimo Group, Manager of International Human Resource Development Marimo Holdings Inc. Kanakuchi Yuya and Drs. Tatang Hariri, M.A., Ph.D. as Head of the Bachelor Program in Japanese Language and Culture along with final year students and alumni of the Program.
The activity began with an introduction to the Marimo Group to the participants. Marimo Group is a company operating in the property sector with its head office in Hiroshima City, Japan, which now owns more than 21,000 mansion units throughout Japan. Currently, Marimo is opening opportunities for final year students or alumni who are interested in working in Japan. Marimo can help applicants find suitable jobs according to their interests and talents. Jobs that are generally in demand are in the fields of translation and hospitality, but it is possible if you want to apply for a field that is not offered.
By being with Marimo as a partner in working abroad, you can certainly feel safe and comfortable when working. Feelings of missing home while working can also be relieved because, with connections from Marimo, we can still meet Indonesian people. It is hoped that this good opportunity can be utilized by academics and alumni to gain experience in the world of work.
