HIMAJE
Brief History
The Student Association of the Bachelor Program in Japanese Language and Culture, abbreviated as HIMAJE in Indonesian, was established in Yogyakarta on September 1, 1989. The HIMAJE organization is based at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Goals and Functions of Himaje
- Enhance devotion to God Almighty.
- Promote the implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education and realize the vision of the alma mater.
- Strengthen harmony.
- Consolidate the unity and integrity of its members.
- Develop cultural studies and other academic disciplines.
- Enhance the self-potential of its members.
Functions of the Student Association of the Bachelor Program in Japanese Language and Culture:
- A platform for the development of the personality of the Student Association of Bachelor Program in Japanese Language and Culture.
- A venue for the advancement of academic knowledge and student creativity.
- A space for community service.
- A channel for aspirations, empowerment, and unification of the Student Association of Bachelor Program in Japanese Language and Culture.
- A forum for cultivating the vision of student movements.
